The Pictures Speak Heart-Breaking Words

She was in church every Sunday, sitting with her parents (and both sets of grandparents). She always came to youth group and went to camp. Turning Around an Aircraft Carrier Takes Time: How I Started Turning It

Have you ever stood on a dock next to an aircraft carrier? The size of this ship is massive! I know very little about them, but I'm sure they do not turn around on a dime. Not Your Typical Retreat

This fall I did something crazy. I suppose it would have been considered suicidal in some church contexts. I canned our typical fall retreat. In its place was "Unplugged." This retreat was missing quite a few things. On the MIA list were things like a sound system, a video screen, and a loud band with electric guitars.
